    GOVERNOR GEORGE WALLACE USED STATE TROOPERS FRIDAY, 6 SEPTEMBER FOR THE SECOND TIME TO BLOCK THE BEGINNING OF PUBLIC SCHOOL'S INTEGRATION IN ALABAMA.

    TROOPERS BARRED THE ENTRANCE TO FOUR SCHOOLS IN HUNTSVILLE, ALABAMA, THAT HAD ENROLLED ONE NEGRO EACH UNDER A FEDERAL COURT ORDER.THE NEGRO STUDENTS SHOWED UP AT ALL FOUR SCHOOL, BUT THERE WERE ABOUT 150 STATE TROOPERS ON HAND TO PREVENT THEM FROM ENTERING.

    GOVERNOR WALLACE SAID HE CLOSED THE SCHOOLS TEMPORARILY ONLY TO PRESERVE "DOMESTIC TRANQUILITY".

    THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL SENT A TELEGRAM TO THE GOVERNOR ASKING HIM TO REMOVE THE TROOPERS AND STOP INTERFERING WITH THE HUNTSVILLE SCHOOLS.THE HUNTSVILLE SUPERINTENDENT OF EDUCATION SAYS THE GOVERNOR'S AIDES HAVE ASSURED HIM THE SCHOOLS WILL BE ALLOWED TO OPEN MONDAY.
