Background: More than a thousand children in New Delhi yesterday (Monday) added their protests to the growing Indian-Pakistan dispute. They marched on the pakistan High Commission in the Indian capital to demand the release of a family of four East Bengalis allegedly detained inside the building.
The protest was led by two brothers reported to have escaped from High commission together with other families. The brothers, Murad and Murshed, called for the release of their parents, Mr and Mrs. Hussain Ali, and two sisters. Though a heavy police guard was drawn up round the building, there were no incidents and the children left after distributing leaflets calling for the release of the family.
