Background: A British Rolls-Royce, reputedly the world's most expensive car, has recently been re-sold in Chicago. It is a Phantom Five model, built in 1962 for King Feisal of Saudi Arabia at a cost of over GBP40,000 (sterling). It's African walnut interior alone cost GBP10,000 -- sufficient to buy a good family-sized house in most part of the world. This film, shot in Chicago shortly after the car was sold to a local businessman there, takes a look at all that expensive luxury.

SYNOPSIS: This British Rolls-Royce is reputed to be the most expensive car in the world. An eight-passenger Phantom Five model, it was built in 1962 for king Feisal of Saudi Arabia at a cost of over GBP40,000. The African walnut interior alone, made from a single tree, cost GBP10,000 -- enough for a good family-sized house in most parts of the world.

But the car's royal days are over. It was recently sold in Chicago, America, to a businessman there -- at an undisclosed price. However, the price tag for this particular Rolls -- made of a rare German nickel -- would still have been very, very high. Even if a bar was lacking -- for the King, a ddvout Moslem, doesn't drink.
