For Scriptwriter: a couple of points to bring out. First, Oh way very much respected not only as a very successful sportsman but also as a very gentlemanly player, a fine model for young people. He made huge sums of money, not only from the game, but also as a commercial sponsor, etc., but never allowed the money to become more important than the sport. He is Taiwanese born, and still carries a China Republic passport. His father was a very simple man, the owner of a small noodle-shop. Oh's career is a perfect example not only of rags to riches, but also of poor boy achieves success without letting it spoil him. Oh's modesty and simplicity are legendary, and though technically a foreigner, he is by a long way Japan's greatest sports hero.
