    A three-member delegation from Britain's ruling Conservative Party on Wednesday (September 29) toured areas on the Jordanian side of the Allenby Bridge.

    The three men, Mr Martin Maclaren, Mr John Brewes and Mr Murray Johnston are touring Arab countries which border with Israel. On their return to Britain they will report to the Foreign Secretary, Sir Alec Douglas Home
    SYNOPSIS: A three-member delegation from Britain's ruling Conservative Party on Wednesday toured areas on the Jordanian side of the Allenby Bridge. The visit to the bridge was part of a special tour the delegation is making of Arab countries which share borders with Israel.

    The tree men, Mr Murray Johnston, Mr Martin Maclaren and Mr John Brewes were accompanied during their Jordanian tour by the Director of Public Relations in the Jordanian Ministry of Information, Mr Peter Saleh.

    Before arriving in Jordan, the delegation had visited Cairo and were next scheduled to travel to Lebanon.

    After visiting the Allenby bridge the three men toured the El-Karameh village which has been a refugee camp since 1948. On their tour to the Foreign Secretary, Sir Alec Douglas Home.
