    ALL BUT THREE WERE SENTENCED FOR ACTS CARRIED OUT BEFORE JULY 1, 1962, THE DATE OF ALGERIAN INDEPENDENCE.THE OTHERS BELONGED TO AN ORGANISATION SUPPORTING THE ALGERIAN NATIONAL LIBERATION FRONT (FLN)
    ONE OF THE FIRST WAS RELEASED TODAY (MONDAY) AT ROUEN, AS FILM SHOWS.MOST OF THE REMAINDER THERE WERE RELEASED SECRETLY THEY WERE TAKEN FROM THE PRISON IN CLOSED POLICE VANS.
