Background: A powerful force of North Vietnamese and Viet Cong overran the district capital of Duc Duc in South Vietnam this week. When South Vietnamese and American forces reoccupied the town, they found it had been almost completely destroyed.
National Broadcasting Cameramen got dramatic film of the evacuation of a few of the 140 wounded. They also recorded the devastated township in which 120 people died -- over 100 of them civilians -- and 2,000 were made homeless.
