  • Description

It was a wedding with a strong flavour of cricket when Subba Row, England Test player and captain of Northants., was married to Miss Anne Harrison, a former secretary, April 21, at the Savoy Chapel, near the Thames Embankment, London.

Subba Row arrived with his mother, and the wedding scene was filmed by England Test cricketer Mike Smith.

Roy Swetman, Allan Moss and Peter Richardson were among the other cricketer friends of the groom. After the ceremony in the little chapel, bride and groom passed under an archway of cricket bats held by old school friends, and then drove to the reception in Park Lane. Subba Row met Miss Harrison five years ago at a party.
