    IN A TOAST AT THE LUNCHEON, THE PRESIDENT ASSURED THE PRIME MINISTER THAT THE US REGARDED THE STABILITY OF THE CONGO GOVERNMENT ESSENTIAL TO THE SURVIVAL OF THE UN AND THE "SUCCESS OF A FREE AFRICA".

    IN RESPONSE, MR. ADOULA SAID PROGRESS IN BRINGING STABILITY TO THE CONGO HAD BEEN POSSIBLE ONLY BECAUSE OF THE "CONTINUOUS, WILLING HELP WITH NO ULTERIOR MOTIVATION" FROM THE US.
