    In London's Piccadilly Circus tonight (Wednesday) the premiere of John Lennon latest film brought policemen out in force as a crowd of thousands watched the arrival of many stars of the pop world.
    The crowd only tried to break their ranks when the Beatles arrived. They were given a tremendous welcome despite rumours that their popularity is waning.
    Also there was the producer and director of the film Mr. Dick Lester.
    Called "How I won the war" his film is a scathing protest against the stupidity and shame of war and a contemptuous answer to those film that glorify war us heroic.
    It tells the story of a small unit in North Africa during the Second World War detailed to lay a cricket pitch behind enemy lines at the him of a commanding officer.
