FOUR DEMONSTRATORS WERE ALLOWED INSIDE THE EMBASSY TO PRESENT A PETITION. THEY WERE LED BY TARIO ALI, A PAKISTAN STUDENT WHO ORGANISED THE ANTI-VIETNAM DEMONSTRATION OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES EMBASSY LAST MONTH WHICH ENDED IN VIOLENCE.
