  • Description

The first major motor cycle endurance race held in Australia for 20 years provided plenty of thrills and spills when it was held recently at Sydney's Amaroo racing circuit.

With 75 motor cycles on the track at the one time there were accidents from the first few laps of the six-hour race -- but luckily nobody was seriously hurt.

The riders not only collided with each other but some of them also crashed into the banking around the track. One motor cycle ran into an ambulance while the ambulancemen were attending to another competitor.

The spectators didn't really care very much who won, they were busy concentrating on some of the most thrilling motor cycling seen in Sydney in years.
