Background: The Jan Sangh, one of the nationalist parties of India, staged a demonstration, September 6, outside the Chinese Embassy in New Delhi, India.
The demonstrators, who had rallied at the Party headquarters in the capital, marched in procession to the Embassy, carrying banners with slogans protesting against Chinese aggression on the India-China border.
Speakers at the protest meeting urged string measures to oppose the Chinese, and the crowd took up the cry with enthusiasm, for China;s recent actions on the Indo-Tibetan border have aroused the whole of Indian public opinion against her.
