    Thousands of people flocked to the Military Cemetery outside Seoul, June 6, to pay homage to the many of South Korean soldiers who fell in the war against Communist North Korea.

    South Korea's acting President, Huh Chung, and his new Cabinet were present at the ceremony. The United Nations Command in Korea was represented by General Magruder, Commanding General, who laid a wreath with the U. N. Emblem on it.

    An estimated 37,832 soldiers died fighting the North Korean Communists, and the solemn ceremony included a minute's silence in honour of the dead.
