  • Description

Visnews filmed - June 20 - at the Paris Air Show, Le Bourget Airport, fore-runner of a notable new French aircraft, the short take-off and landing Breguet "941 Integral" The fuselage section of the "Integral" was on view as a static exhibit.

The short take-off - about a third or even smaller fraction of the normal stake-off run - is achieved by means of extra large wing flaps. When in operation these give the wing a section shaped almost like a quarter-circle. The large propellers are driven by four de Havilland "Gnome" turbo-prop engines - which are American General Electric "P 58" engines built under license.
