    THE PRINCE IS IN BANGKOK FOR FOUR DAYS AT THE INVITATION OF KING BHUMIPOL ADULYADEJ OF THAILAND, ON HIS WAY HOME AFTER A TOUR OF THE FAR EAST.

    AT THE AIRPORT TO GREET PRINCE PHILIP WAS PRINCE BHANUBHANDU YUGALA, WHO REPRESENTED THE KING.FILM SHOWS PRINCE PHILIP BEING INTRODUCED TO THAI GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS, INSPECTING A GUARD OF HONOUR AND MEETING MEMBERS OF THE DIPLOMATIC CORPS.

    INSIDE THE AIRPORT BUILDING, MORE THAI OFFICIALS HAD GATHERED TO HAVE A GLIMPSE OF THE PRINCE WHO DID NOT SPEAK TO THEM BUT WALKED TO A WAITING CAR.

    A THAI MILITARY BAND PLAYED "GOD SAVE THE QUEEN" AS THE PRINCE WAS DRIVING OFF TO THE GRAND PALACE WHERE HE IS BEING ACCOMMODATED DURING HIS STAY.THRONGS OF PEOPLE HAD GATHERED ALONG THE ROUTE TO THE PALACE; THEY WAVED TINY PAPER UNION JACK FLAGS AS THE PRINCE DROVE PAST.
