    On April 14, 1894, a handful of New Yorkers became the first movie audience.

    Since that humble beginning, hundreds of millions -- from Main street to Chungking depend upon the motion pictures for education, for visualization of the world and its peoples, and for ENTERTAINMENT.

    Paramount News, today, salutes the Motion Picture's 50 years of amazing achievement...
