Background: The six-man military jury on the My Lai Massacre trial in Fort Benning, Georgia, tonight ended their second day of deliberations by calling for a refresher hearing on part of the evidence - a request that makes an early verdict in the case unlikely. Meanwhile, Lieutenant William Calley, the 27-year-old who could be sentenced to death if found guilty of the charges, has been remaining in his quarters on the base, reading and talking to friends on the telephone - he has also been far more relaxed and co-operative with newsmen, allowing them to film him "at home", but will not allow sound recordings or answer questions.
