One of the most extravagant personalities at United Nations has, of course, been Fidel Castro. Lately, the Negro Baptists Conference of New York strongly criticised the Cuban leader for "bringing discredit to the Negro population of Harlem", following his dramatic removal to an hotel in New York's coloured quarter. this view of Castro's activities did not, however, seem representative of the attitude of Harlem's residents when our correspondent Leonard Parkin went there. He also encountered a good deal of anti-white feeling.
