If prosperity and stability are maintained in the next thirty years. Similarly only the people who have confidence in the arrangement after 1997 can prosperity and stability in the thirty years before 1997 be maintained. At present, people are worried that in order to reach an early account, the government of China and Britain may come to an agreement that would not be sufficiently detailed and binding to command confidence in Hong Kong. They are also worried that prosperity and stability may be threatened by the josaling power in the next thirty years. Our meeting with Chairman Deng focused on the state of confidence in Hong Kong.
