    The Congolese Workers Party, the state party of the Congo People's Republic, has undertaken intensive educational efforts to revolutionise its people. Much of the work is directed at women. In this connection, a seminar for women activists was held in Brazzaville for a period of two weeks.

    The closing ceremony on Saturday (25 September) was also attended by women delegates from Albania, as well as a number of wives of ambassadors accredited in Brazzaville. The closing session was addressed by Mrs. Josephine Bouanga, chairwoman of the Revolutionary Union of Congolese Women.

    SYNOPSIS: At the Pedagogical Academy of Central Africa in Brazzaville on Saturday, the closing session of a two-week seminar for women activists. The seminar was part of the programme to educate and revolutionise the people, being carried out by the Congolese Workers Party.

    Mrs. Josephine Bouanga, chairwoman of the Revolutionary Union of Congolese Women, said that knowledge gained at the seminar will help the women educate the masses according to the three revolutionary movements--class struggle, struggle for augmentation of production, and struggle for scientific experimentation.
