Background: The Italian Foreign Minister, Mr. Aldo Moro, made a 24-hour visit to Dahomey during his eight-day tour to five West African countries. He arrived in Cotonou on Thursday (28 April) from Ghana and flew to Nigeria the following afternoon.
While in Dahomey, Mr. Moro had talks with Mr. Hubert Maga, Chairman of Dahomey's Presidential Council and other officials who had recently led an economic mission to Italy. Towards the end of his visit, Mr. Moro called on the town of Ganvie where this film was shot.
