    President Albert Bernard Bongo of the Gabonese Republic, who is paying a four-day official visit to Britain, today (Thursday) toured the Rolls Royce factory at Crewe, in the English Midlands. President Bongo has been holding high level talks with British Government leaders, including the Prime Minister Mr. Heath and the Foreign Secretary, Sir Alec Douglas-Home.

    The President, who was accompanied by Gabonese Ministers and other advisers was greeted by officials of the Rolls Royce Company. He was given a thorough guided tour through the plant and saw the Rolls Royce cars in almost every stage of production. He showed interest in a number of finished models.

    A spokesman for Rolls Royce said he did not know if President Bongo intended buying a car. He said there were no Rolls Royce servicing facilities in Gabon, but arrangement could, "on doubt," be made.
