    VISNEWS cameras visited the 'Artillerie-Intrichtingen' factory at Hembrug-Zaandam, Holland, Feb 2, for film a demonstration of the new Armalite AR-10 lightweight combat rifle. Experts believe that it will soon be standard equipment for NATO infantry.

    A basic infantry-rifle with full and semi automatic fire control, the AR-10 is a sniper rifle of highest accuracy standards. Light and compact enough to readily take the place of a sub-machine gun having the range, energy and accuracy of a rifle. It is also a grenade launching weapon, capable of launching grenades without the necessity of gas-adjustment, thus permitting use of ball ammunition immediately with one loss of time.
