    The first ordinary session of the National Assembly has been opened at the main hall of the ruling party building at Nsele in Congo Kinshasa.

    A message from President Joseph Mobutu, at present on overseas tour, was read out to the Ministers and Deputies present at the opening. The message mentioned that certain ideas should guide the deputies in their work.General Mobutu had said in the message that a basis of guided ideas was indispensable for the success of the country.

    SYNOPSIS: In Congo Kinshasa, the first ordinary session of the National Assembly has been opened at the main hall in Nsele. The Ministers and Deputies first beard a message from President Mobutu -- who was unable to attend.

    President Mobutu's message was read to the National Assembly by Mr Andre Boboliko. President Mobutu, at present on an overseas tour, had written that certain ideas should guide Ministers and Deputies in their work. The message mentioned that the basis of guided ideas was indispensable for the success of a country.

    Mr Boboliko then addressed the Ministers and Deputies gathered for the opening of the National Assembly. He then closed the meeting officially and the first ordinary session ended.
