    In Zambia, the Patriotic Front guerrilla movement has promised not to disrupt the Commonwealth Prime Minister's conference which opens in Lusaka later this month. Fears had been expressed over the safety of Britain's Queen Elizabeth, who is due to open the conference. In Lusaka on Friday (7 July) a news conference was held by willie Musarurwa, spokesman for one wing of the Front, the Zimbabwe African People's Union.

    SYNOPSIS: Mr Musarurwa was asked if British Premier Margaret Thatcher could feel safe at the conference as well as the Queen.
