Libya's Minister for Health, Doctor Meftah Al Usta Omar opened a Seminar on Family Health in Benghazi recently. the seminar, under the patronage of the Medical College of Libyan University, is the first of its kind to be held in the country.
During the opening Doctor Rauf Bin Amar, the Dean of the Medical College, emphasised the main objective of Libya's Ministry of Health and the University's Faculty of Medicine. This was to fight the various enemies of the health of man. Doctor Rauf Bin Amar also praised the interest of the Government in the fight against health problems, in establishing a new Medical College at Benghazi.

Doctor Metah Al Usta Omar, Libya's Health Minister, attended the seminar, the first of is kind ever held in the country.
Doctor Rauf Bin Amar, Dean of the Libyan University's Medical College, addressed delegates at the conference. He emphasised that the objective of the Health Ministry was to fight the enemies of the health of man. The delegates were told of the interest the Libyan Government has taken through successful medical development schemes. Recently the Government established a new Medical College in Benghazi to further the study of health in the country.
