Background: President Anwar Sadat of Egypt has spent two days in Tripoli for talks with Libya's president Muammar Gaddafl. During the talks the two leaders discussed further steps for the prompt implementation of the proposed merger between their two nations. Egyptian and Libyan air commanders attended some of the talks. and at a press conference President Sadat said Egypt had no option but to fight to regain territory occupied by Israel. The egyptian leader added that the next round would be the most ferocious in history.
