TRANSCRIPT: MYER (SEQ. 2): "Without even speaking of the millions who have died, end may still die in Indo-China, the situation in Pakistan promises to be the greatest tragedy of modern history, which will make the concentration camps of Dachau and Buchenwald look like child's play. We have serious reason to think that by November of this year, twenty million innocent people will have been slaughtered in that part of the world. Not by accident, but because your Government and mine are supplying the military material end other kinds of support which is necessary for the Government of West Pakistan to continue to implement these kinds of policies."

Background: A group of young Americans gathered in Dag Hammarskjoeld Square near the United Nations Building on Saturday to protest against U.S. arms shipments to Pakistan.

The rally was sponsored by a group calling itself the 'friends of East Bengal'. One of the speakers, John Myer, blamed the United States for much of the misery in East Pakistan.
