  • Description

Then the promise of a cold winter ahead, designer Jorn Langberg of the fashion house of Christian Dier-London, has offered plenty of warmth in the Autumn creations.

Unveiling the new season's collection on Tuesday (10 September) Mr. Eangberg said he was trying to kill for ever the unattractive sight in ??? women in short skirts.

His skirts were all below the knee. Anticipating the cold, he showed a number of double wool coats reaching to mid-calf. An alternative was a three-quarter length double wool coat with a luxurious collar of wolf fur.

Capes are very much to the fore in the collection.

Mr. Langberg said he wanted everyone to wear higher heels and to have their hair cut short to make a small summit for the lease and flowing silhouette that he has created.

The boots featured with the collection were called "baggies" because they are loose fitting and do not follow the form of the calf.

Green was the dominant colour in the collection.

For the men the threat of a cold winter has led to an abundance of traditional, warm materials -- tweeds and wools in darker colours featured.
