  • Description

Today David Attenborough and Cameraman Jeff Mullingham arrived at Nairobi having flown in from Madagascar, after having spent three months there making a further series of stories for showing on television throughout the world. They had captured various very rare specimens of birds and animals which they will be showing to television audiences before sending them to the London Zoo. They had also found the very rare Dodo egg. This egg measured about 15" long and 9" across and is the largest egg ever known to man. Attenborough says that this particular egg was laid at the dawn of man on earth but was unable to say exactly before returning to London and spending sometime on research. No doubt this egg will cause great interest throughout the world. During their travels cameraman Mullington has shot 35,500' of film and will be out to about six half hour programs and will be ready for production on about the middle of Feb.. They are leaving Nairobi tonight bound for London together with their precious cargo.
