Egyptian President Anwar Sadat held meetings with his top aides on Saturday (10 April). The President first conferred with his Prime Minister, Dr. Mahmoud Fawzi, and then with his War Minister, General Mohammed Fawzi.
The General reported to the President on the results of some military studies which the President, as Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, had asked him to prepare with a number of Army commanders.
President Sadat also met Foreign Minister Riad, Interior Minister Gooma, and Supply Minister Ashour.
No further details of the talks were given, but it is, thought that much of the discussion centred around a series of meetings the president held with Army commanders last month relating to the possibility of crises following the end of the official ceasefire along the Suez Canal on March 7th.
