A PAVILLION WAS SET UP IN THE TOKYO HIBIYA PARK WHICH SAYS " THE CITY OF LONDON ". MANY JAPANESE VISIT HERE AS IT WAS OPENED THIS NOON.

MANY SIGNS OF BRITISH ENSIGNS AND OTHER ADVERTISEMENT DECORATIONS ETC. THE BRITISH GOODS ARE DISPLAYED INSIDE THE BUDOKAN HALL.     EXHIBITIONS ARE BEING HELD ON WINSTON CHURCHILL, SHAKESPEARE, THE ELIZABETHAN AGE, BRITISH POTTERY, LONDON, PAINTINGS BY ENGLISH CHILDREN, AND MODERN ENGLAND.

    OPERATED BY DRIVERS FROM LONDON AND JAPANESE CONDUCTRESSES WEARING THE SAME UNIFORM AS THOSE IN THE BRITISH CAPITAL, EIGHT RED LONDON DOUBLE-DECKER BUSSES ARE GIVING FREE RIDES ON FOUR DIFFERENT CIRCULAR ROUTES AROUND TOKYO.

    HIGHLIGHT OF THE 'WEEK' WILL BE A PRESTIGE EXHIBITION AT THE NIPPON BUDOKAN, WHICH WILL FEATURE SECTIONS ON 'INVENTIVE BRITAIN' AN 'ANGLO-JAPANESE RELATIONS'. AN AUTHENTIC REPLICA OF A BRITISH PUBLIC HOUSE HAS BEEN BUILT IN THE BUDOKAN, AND VISITORS THERE WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY OF TASTING DRAUGHT BRITISH BEER FOR THE FIRST TIME IN JAPAN.
