    THE FAMED "FLYING TIGERS" SQUADRON OF THE U.S. AIR FORCE, NOW BASED IN SOUTH VIETNAM, HAS ADOPTED A TIGER AS THEIR MASCOT. RAISED FROM A CUB BY AN OFFICER OF THE SQUADRON, THE TIGER IS KEPT IN A FENCED COMPOUND AND ENJOYS AN OCCASIONAL ROMP WITH PILOTS.

    WHAT HAPPENS WHEN IT GROWS TO FULL SIZE? THAT'S A PROBLEM THE SQUADRON HAVE YET TO SOLVE. MEANTIME, THE TIGER PROVIDES PLENTY OF FUN FOR OFF-DUTY PERSONNEL.

    THE "FLYING TIGERS" ARE THE 93RD HELICOPTER SQUADRON OF THE USAF, CURRENTLY ENGAGED IN ANTI-GUERILLA OPERATIONS IN SOUTH VIETNAM.
