CAMERA: It is elementary to note the collusion of the racialist and fascist South African regime and the reactionary white minority regime of Rhodesia with the Slave Government of Lisbon which constitutes an actual menace to international space and security. On the other hand, the arms race and the war preparation of the colonialist and racialist regimes endangers the sovereignty, the security and the national integrity of the peoples rights explicitly recognised by the UN Charter. We Denounce any assistance, whether economic, military or of any other nature to the racialist and colonialist regimes. No matter if it is in the form of foreign investments, military assistance, supply of arms or installation of manufacture s, all this constitutes a policy aimed at or supporting the oppressors and perpetuation of oppression. This is an opportunity for our delegation to raise a protest against the sale of arms to South Africa by some member states, inparticular some members of the security council who evade the international obligation of the Charter. The seventh regular meeting of the Conference of Heads of State and Governments, which took place in Addis Ababa in September 1970, regretted the attitude of NATO countries which keep selling arms and giving financial assistance to South Africa and enables that country to pursue a policy of repression against the innocent African population and to worsen the Apartheid Policy.
