TRANSCRIPT: (SEQ. 2): DEMONSTRATOR: "We, representatives of Jewish youth in America, presently participating a 72-hour fast and vigil in sympathy with the plight of Russian Jews, hereby make the following appeal to the government and people of the USSR. We appeal to your sense of justice, to allow the Jews of the USSR complete religious and cultural freedom. This is their right, according to the Soviet Constitution. You have specifically signed the U.N. Declaration of Human Rights, and your sacred honour should obligate you to fulfil it and abide by its provisions. Our appeal will not be silenced. Let our people go!"
