SYNOPSIS: The spokesman for the exiled Moslems, Mohammad Na'im said the overthrow of the government of President Hafizullah Amin only makes the fight for an independent Afghanistan more urgent. Islamic forces have been involved in a tribal rebellion in the mountains of eastern-Afghanistan in protest against the country's first reforming polities in 1978. The tribal rebellion forced the kabul government's army into isolated garrisons, and brought an uneasy stalemate. Babrak karmal says he will seek a political solution to the unrest and he pledged support for Islam. But this has not satisfied Mohammad Na'im and his supporters.
