    SPEAKING TO A LARGE AUDIENCE IN ORLEANS, HE DELIVERED A TWO-PRONGED ATTACK ON GENERAL DE GAULLE'S FOREIGN AND ECONOMIC POLICY. LATER IN THE SAME SPEECH HE ACCUSED THE GOVERNMENT OF PREVENTING HIM FORM AIRING HIS VIEWS PUBLICLY.
