    PRESIDENT PHILIBERT TSIRANANA OF MADAGASCAR, WHO WAS TAKEN ALL IN YAOUNDE, THE CAMEROUN CAPITAL, ON THE FIRST DAY OF THE OCAMM SUMMIT, IS SAID TO BE OUT OF DANGER IN A PARIS HOSPITAL. THE 58-YEAR-OLD PRESIDENT WAS FLOWN THERE IN A SPECIAL AIRCRAFT SUFFERING FROM RESPIRATORY TROUBLE.

    THE PRESIDENT HAS BEEN ORDERED A COMPLETE REST, ACCORDING TO A MEDICAL BULLETIN LAST NIGHT. HE WAS LATER SAID TO BE RESTING IN THE SALPETRIERE HOSPITAL IN PARIS.

    HIS TRANSFER TO PARIS WAS TO BE A MEASURE OF PRUDENCE.

    PRESIDENT TSIRANANA, ELECTED FIRST PRESIDENT OF THE MALAGASY REPUBLIC IN 1959 AND RETURNED TO POWER FOR A SECOND SEVER-YEAR TERM IN 1965, HAS BEEN TREATED ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS BY DOCTORS IN PARIS.
