TRANSCRIPT: Bottomly (SEQ. 2): "I must say it's one of the most harrowing experiences I've ever had -- and I've been on a good many missions, as you know. I was on the Kenyan mission. There have been other incidents in the course of my political life which have taken me into unpleasant areas, but without any doubt at all, this is the worst experience I've had of that kind".

Jessel: "I see no excuse for the conduct and behaviour of the army in East Pakistan, which up to the present week has carried on being extremely violent, and is uprooting large numbers of people from their villages".
