    Background: Supreme Court of India ruled to give its ruling regarding stay order on the judgement of Allahabad High Court against Mrs. Gandhi to 24th ????. The corridors of the Court Room were crowded with lawyers and press men. Mrs. Gandhi eldest son Mr. Rajiv Gandhi was also present. Mrs. Gandhi is represented by Mr. Palkhiwala a known critic of her while Mr. Raj Narain is represented by Mr. Shanti Bhushan and his team who fought fight for her him at Allahabad. There were very strict security arrangements all around the Supreme Court. Meanwhile rallies pledging support to Mrs. Gandhi continued outside her residence. Hearing of main appeal has been fixed for July 14th.
