Background: There's one taxi-cab company in Canada that doesn't have to worry about trading in its cars each year.
But Cabbie Peter Tarassi of Churchill, Manitoba, says you have to be a pretty husky sort of individual.
Where to, sir?? No trouble at all, -- the road's just been freshly paved -- with five feet of snow.
Mr. Tarassi's dog-taxi is one of several in the area. And passengers say they're the only cabbies in the world who never complain about the weather or slippery streets.
And the drivers simply say -- "Hush".
Rates for a sled-taxi differ somewhat from the regular type. For one thing, there are all those hungry mouths to food -- and you can depend upon it -- if you let the fuel gauge get low, there is sure to be a loud howl.
