    UGANDA HAS MADE FURTHER ALLEGATIONS OF INCURSIONS ACROSS ITS BORDER WITH THE CONGO BY CONGOLESE GOVERNMENT FORCES. THE LATEST ALLEGATION COMES AFTER A UGANDAN CLAIM THAT AN AMERICAN-MADE CONGOLESE 'PLANE BOMBED A VILLAGE NEAR THE BORDER ON MONDAY.

    THE UGANDA GOVERNMENT CLAIMS THAT THE CONGOLESE BOMBING ATTACK ON MONDAY TOOK PLACE AT THE BORDER VILLAGE OF GOLI. PRESSMEN AND CAMERAMEN WERE ALLOWED INTO THE AREA FOR THE FIRST TIME YESTERDAY (WEDNESDAY) AND WERE SHOWN THE ALLEGED BOMB DAMAGE BY UGANDA ARMY OFFICERS.

    UGANDA HAS MADE A NUMBER OF ALLEGATIONS OF CONGOLESE AIRCRAFT BOMBING UGANDAN BORDER VILLAGES, ALL OF WHICH HAVE BEEN DENIED BY THE CONGOLESE GOVERNMENT. THE CONGO, IN TURN, HAS ACCUSED UGANDA OF SENDING TROOPS ACROSS THE BORDER IN SUPPORT OF THE CONGOLESE REBELS.

    (AFTER MAKING ALLEGATIONS OF CONGOLESE BOMBING RAIDS ON TWO UGANDA VILLAGES EARLIER THIS MONTH, THE UGANDA PRIME MINISTER, MR. OBOTE, DESCRIBED THEM AS "FRAUGHT WITH A GRAVE THREAT TO WORLD PEACE AND SECURITY". MR. OBOTE SAID HE WAS NOT PREPARED TO ACCEPT THAT THE UNITED STATES HAD NO CONTROL OVER ARMS SUPPLIED TO THE CONGO.)
