    President Yahya Khan of Pakistan on Thursday (November 25) officially inaugurated a new GBP15 million Sterling heavy mechanical complex in the West Pakistan ton of Taxila.

    The complex, which has been largely financed by the People's Republic of China, was built as a coast of one hundred and 70 million Rupees -- about 15 million pounds sterling.

    The People's Republic sent an 11-member delegation to the opening ceremony. It was headed by Mr. Li Snui Ching, Minister of the first Ministry of Machine Building. President Yahya Khan described the complex as a symbol of 'China's continued interest in Pakistan's economic development'.

    SYNOPSIS: The massive heavy mechanical complex in the West Pakistan town of Taxila gas opened last Thursday by Pakistan President Yahya Khan.

    The building of the new Complex was financed largely by the People's Republic of China whose Minister for the first Ministry of Machine Building, Mr Li Shui Ching, headed his country's delegation at the opening ceremony. The Complex cost one hundred and seventy million rupees--about 15 million pounds sterling.

    The chinese Minister cut the ribbon to reveal the official plaque.

    Later the two official parties were taken on a conducted tour of the new Complex. The Pakistan President described the Complex as a symbol of 'China's continued interest in Pakistan's economic development'.
