The two-thousand ton ship is here for four days. Her company marched today to the Naval War Memorial at Southsea Common, where they formed a guard of honour. The Commanding Officer of the GRYF is Commander Leszczynski, and after inspecting the guard of honour he laid a wreath at the foot of the War Memorial on behalf of the entire ship's company.
The officers and cadets have been guests at parties given by the Lord Mayor and the C.-in-C., Portsmouth; this afternoon the ship was thrown open to the public. Meanwhile her company are touring Southern England by coach and visiting the Royal Tournament in London and Royal Navy establishments.
