    SIR HAROLD BEELEY, FORMER BRITISH AMBASSADOR TO CAIRO, IS TO REPORT ON THE DISCUSSIONS TO THE BRITISH FOREIGN SECRETARY, MR. GEORGE BROWN. THE DISCUSSIONS - COVERING ECONOMIC, POLITICAL AND SOCIAL AFFAIRS - HAVE BEEN HELD PRIMARILY TO SEE IF THERE IS ANY BASIS ON WHICH DIPLOMATIC RELATIONS CAN BE RESUMED.
