Background: Professor A.Kybal's pupils are very busy.Under normal circumstances they would be sitting in the Professor's "Studio of applied Textile Art" and be manufacturing about twenty gobelins.But in last February the Professor decided to give his pupils a very extraordinary task.They started to design in the museum and in the Zoo, where they discovered flowers and animals characteristical for Czechoslovakia.Later they composed the design of a gobelin depicting the natural richness of the country.Since February the pupils of this art class have been busy to realize it with the expert help of the teacher.Inch by inch of a giant gobelin mostly in black and white and measuring 33 square metres is woven.The new piece will be something similar to the one which Prof.Kybal created for the Czechoslovak exhibition in Brussels where it was awarded the EXPO 58 Grand Prix.
