    The Richmond Trophy, an international skating competition for women, organised by the Richmond Amateur Ice Skating Club, London, England, was won by a 17-year-old Dutch girl, Miss Sjoukje Dijkstra, for the third successive year, November 3.

    The trophy, now in its tenth year, attracted skaters from Great Britain, Holland, Germany, Norway, Poland, France, Switzerland and East Germany.

    Miss Dijkstra, with a total of 811.5 points, had a good lead over her nearest challenger, Miss Diana Clifton-Peach, 14-year-old South of England champion from Bournemouth, who had 759.7 points.

    Third was Carolyn Krau, of Twickenham, London, a British Olympic skater, who totalled 736.1 points.

    By winning the trophy three times, Miss Dijkstra equalled the record of Yvonne Sugden of Great Britain, winner in 1952-53-55.
