THE GHANAIAN WINNERS INCLUDED BANTAMWEIGHT STEVE AKUSHE, WHO OUTPOINTED NIGER'S DARI DAUDA, AND LIGHT-MIDDLEWEIGHT ROBERT OKINE, WHO FORCED NIGERIA'S SILVER UDOBI TO RETIRE IN THE SECOND ROUND.

    THE OTHER GHANAIAN VICTORIES WERE: FEATHERWEIGHT AMOS AJAO BEAT NEGUSE HAAPTEGIORIS (ETHIOPIA), THE REFEREE STOPPING THE FIGHT IN THE SECOND ROUND, AND WELTERWEIGHT EDDIE BLAY BEAT ZAMBIA'S CHRISTOPHER LYNCH ON POINTS. THERE WERE NO GHANAIAN DEFEATS ON TUESDAY.
