    THIRD PLACE IN THE SLALOM WENT TO MISS GOITSCHEL'S SISTER, CHRISTINA, WHO WAS BEATEN TO SECOND PLACE BY NANCY GREENE OF CANADA. THE SLALOM WAS DECIDED ON TWO RUNS, A TRADITIONAL POLE-GATE SLALOM AND A SINGLE-POLE SLALOM.
